Illness

We are here to support you during times of illness:

Communion to the Homebound
Twice a month, volunteers from our parish take Communion to people who are unable to attend Mass due to disability or illness. If you would like to receive Communion at home, whether on a short-term or long-term basis, please contact the Pastoral Care Office at (716) 283-2238 or stjohndelasalle@outlook.com.

Prayers
To be added to our parish prayer list, please contact the Pastoral Care Office at (716) 283-2238 or stjohndelasalle@outlook.com.

Spiritual Support
If you would like to speak with a priest or receive spiritual support during an illness or healthcare procedure, please contact the Pastoral Care Office at (716) 283-2238 or stjohndelasalle@outlook.com.

Anointing of the Sick
Anointing of the Sick is one of the Seven Sacraments of the Catholic Church. While some refer to it as “last rites,” Anointing of the Sick is available to any Catholic who is seriously ill, preparing for major surgery, or has a chronic illness. A person may be anointed more than once. To arrange for anointing, please contact the Pastoral Care Office at (716) 283-2238 or stjohndelasalle@outlook.com.
